If you already have a high end computer system and do not wish to purchase expensive equipment, you can simply have a receiver with the same capability as a digital satellite receiver. These receivers will possess the same quality and capability as a stand alone digital satellite receiver and will make the recording and archiving of programs simpler and easier than ever before. Cheap external hard drives will serve as storage without the need to connect them to dedicated digital receivers.
